HUGE Summer Shoe Haul

It seems I've gone a bit shoe crazy lately, I honestly didn't realise how many pairs of shoes I'd bought in the last two weeks until I brought them all together for this post. In my defence though, most of my old shoes are either falling apart or are so stretched out that they no longer fit so really it was long over due.

As well as all that, I'm going on holiday in a few weeks (yay!) so I really needed to get a couple of pairs of sandals for during the day and some summery heels to wear in the evenings that would withstand cobbled streets.
I went for quite neutral colours to make it easier to decide what shoes to take with me as I figured they'll go with more outfits and I can get more wear out of them. I don't know about you but I find it so difficult choosing what to pack in my suitcase, suddenly I can't be without any of the shoes I own for two weeks and I end up taking way too many! Anyone else do this?!

What do you think of what I've bought? Let me know below!

Spring Makeup Haul

Now that we're finally coming up to Spring (woo hoo!) I thought it was about time I gave my makeup bag a 'Spring Clean' and tried out some new products. The fact that Boots is still holding their 3 for 2 deal across all makeup just helped persuade me more that it was a good idea. Honestly, what makeup addict could resist such a good deal!? Not all of this is for me however, my sister picked up the Bourjois CC cream, the Revlon Colour Rush Balm and the Rimmel nail polish to try out too.

L'Oreal Miss Manga Mascara - £8.99 boots.com This is my favourite mascara at the moment, it instantly gives me fuller, longer looking lashes with just one coat.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum 'Vanilla' - £10.99 boots.com I've heard many a good things about this foundation, I'm hoping it will live up to my expectations for something which is lighter coverage, expect a review soon!

Bourjois 123 Perfect Colour CC Cream - £9.99 boots.com One of my sister's buys, she is lucky enough to have pretty much perfect skin so she's ditching the foundation and giving this a try. Hopefully I can get her thoughts on it and review it.

Soap and Glory One Heck Of A Blot - £12 boots.com I've used this before but the price put me off repurchasing it, the 3 for 2 deal gave me the excuse to give it another go.

Rimmel Colour Rush Balm 'On Fire' - £5.99 boots.com Both my sister and I own a few of these between us and we really love them, she decided to pick up this shade which is a gorgeous vibrant red pink colour.

No7 Pop and Glow Cream Blush 'Rose Blossom' - £9.95 boots.com This has already become an every day essential in my makeup bag, you can now officially call me a cream blush convert.

Barry M Sequin Nail Effects 'White' - £3.99 boots.com The sequin effects polishes have caught my eye every time I've gone over to the Barry M stand and this time I just couldn't leave without buying one. I've heard mixed reviews on so I may be doing a nail post soon so you can see what I think.

Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail Polish 'Instyle Coral' - £3.99 boots.com Another of my Sister's picks, she was looking for the perfect pedicure colour and I think this shade will go with just about anything. It's more pink in real life but for some reason in these pictures it looks really orange.

I'd love to hear what you've picked up in the in the recent Boots 3 for 2 deal, let me know below!

A Few Buys From Matalan

I Skirt £14.00 Available HERE I Loafers £10.00 Available HERE I

I picked up a few really great buys from Matalan last week so I thought I'd share them here. Matalan is not normally somewhere I would shop for clothes, their home section is great and really well priced but most of their clothes leave a lot to be desired. However they are really reasonably priced and I managed to find a few things I had been after for ages; something tartan and a pair of black loafers.

I absolutely love this green tartan pleated skirt, I like to team it up with my leather jacket or a cosy thick knit jumper. Seeing as I'm half Scottish, it's always nice to embrace a bit of tartan!

I Star Tights £3.00 Available In Store I Dotty Tights £3.00 Available HERE I

These patent loafers are really versatile, perfect for during the day and smart enough to wear in the evening. They're also wide fit and I wouldn't say I have particularly wide feet but they fit like a dream. The tights I bought in this start pattern as well as a dotty pattern. They're really great for jazzing up an outfit seeing as we can no longer get away with bare legs cause it's too darn cold! For £3.00 I think they're an absolute bargain.

Birthday Presents From The USA

I thought I'd share with you what I got for my birthday last week, all of which were gifts bought for me whilst we were in America. I'm so lucky that I have the best parents and big sister in the ENTIRE WORLD who love to spoil me once in a while so I'm just going to take the opportunity again right here to tell them how thankful I am for everything they bought me and how much I love them!
I really enjoys reading blog posts like this about what people have bought and I hope it's something which interests you too. This is going to be quite a long post but lucky for you I did cut out quite a bit of rambling and it's mostly picture heavy so happy reading!

Skull Candy Hesh 2 Headphones-£59.99 Available here
I've been looking for a pair of decent quality headphones everywhere and luckily my Dad bought these at a really great price, $39.99 I think. It's a considerable mark down from the original price of $59.99. The sound is great quality and they're really comfortable which is all I can ask for.

Betty Crocker Cake Mixes
I've become a bit of a fan of Betty Crocker cake mixes recently so I was really excited when I saw just how many different versions they have available in US supermarkets. Literally rows and rows of them! I'd be lucky to find four of five in my local supermarket! So for that reason I just couldn't resist buying a few to take home. I'm most excited about the rainbow cake, I've never seen a cake like it and can't wait to see how it turns out!
I only got a few make up bits including a Clinique Chubby Stick mini set, a Mac blush and an Essie Nail polish. The Clinique Chubby Stick Mini set and the Mac Blush were both bought at The Cosmetic Company Store at an outlet mall we visited and boy do I wish I had one of these near me! I've done a little research and there are a few stores at outlet malls in the UK but unfortunately none near where I live. I couldn't believe it when I walked in and they had high end products like Mac, Bobbi Brown and Clinique at discount prices, it was make up heaven!

Clinique Whole Llotta Colour Chubby Stick set
It seems like forever that I've wanted to try the Clinique Chubby sticks but I always thought they were too expensive so I had to get the mini set when I saw it. They've soon become my go to lip product and are perfect for the summer when I don't want to wear anything too heavy.

Mac Pro Longwear Blush in 'Rosy Outlook'-£20.00
The Mac Pro Longwear Blush in 'Rosy Outlook' was too good to resist at a discounted price. Unfortunately I can't remember how much I paid for either products in The Cosmetic Company Store but lets just say it was a lot less than I would of paid in the UK. It's a pretty Coral/Pink colour and I'm really impressed at how long lasting it is.

Essie Nail Polish in 'E-nuf is E-nuf'
I've already written a post about this nail polish which you can read here

Clothes
All the clothes I got are from Forever 21, a shop which I absolutely loved! The two stores I visited were huge, full of amazing clothes that if I could have taken home with me I would have. You've probably noticed there's a bit of a theme colour wise, I obviously love the colour coral, I didn't actually notice until I got it all home. Again I can't remember prices nor can I find any of these items on the forever 21 UK website, I'm not being a very good blogger today am I?!
